What do you love most about being part of MBEWM?
I love working with the team we have put together at MBEWM. We are all open to new ideas and we are supportive of each other with the goal of making our clients have a great experience.
If money weren’t an issue and you could do whatever you wanted to do with your life, what would that look like?
I would spend as much time as possible exploring the outdoors. I love being outside; I enjoy walking, hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, boating, conservation and camping. I would try and turn those activities and passions into greater adventures like hiking the continental divide or the Pacific Crest Trail. I would also like to volunteer my time to help individuals and groups get out and enjoy these activities and volunteer more time to conservation organizations that protect and enhance these activities and the outdoors.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I have ever received is a quote from Marc Levy: “Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to used during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course? Each of us has such a bank, it's name is time. Every morning, it credits you 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off at a lost, whatever of this you failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against "tomorrow". You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in happiness and health. The clock is running. Make the most of today.”
