Our Wealth Management Process We follow a disciplined wealth management process that provides a structured approach while allowing for careful customization as your unique needs and situation dictate. Our process involves getting to know you, your current financial situation, your interests and your personal and financial goals. The following is a summary of what you can expect from us.A week or so before our first face-to face meeting, we will ask you to provide information or statements regarding your existing investments, and/or insurance policies that you may have.We will have a face-to face discovery meeting. (We can also meet via web conferencing for clients who are outside our geographical area.) During our first meeting we will inquire about the following:Your past investing experience, and your experience in handling your finances.Your present and future financial goals.Any non-profit organizations or charities, etc. that very important to you and that you'd possibly like to give to financially.We will administer a short risk-sensitivity questionnaire to get a feel for your comfort level with investment risk.We always allow time for you to let us know your expectations of us and to answer any questions you might have in our first meeting. We ask a lot of questions, but, more importantly, we do a lot of listening as well!We will schedule a subsequent meeting, usually approximately one week after the first. During the second meeting, we will:Review our notes with you from the prior meeting, and make any corrections and/or additions as needed.Review your existing investment and insurance contracts with you.Present our analysis, and provide you with a detailed proposal for the management of your investment portfolio along with any suggestions regarding your insurance policies, if necessary.Should we decide to move forward together, we do our best to make the implementation process as seamless as possible. This typically involves:Opening the necessary investment accountsBuilding a financial plan using eMoney WealthVision (TM) financial planning softwareTransferring funds from old accounts into new ones as requiredOnce all of your assets have transferred, and your financial plan has been constructed, we monitor the progress and conduct periodic review meetings in order to:Make sure you are working toward your financial goals.Discuss the economy, your portfolio, and your financial plan.Evaluate changes that may have occurred in your life and discuss options available to help you face the financial challenges that may be occurring.
